Why we recommend a 1024 X 768 screen display?

Miniature World in its most recent website update has incorporated over 75 new digital images that accurately show you what you might see if you actually visit Miniature World in downtown Victoria, British Columbia on Vancouver Island on Canada's west coast.

A Full Screen Display of 1024 X 768 was chosen as a good medium resolution design mode to view the website because it allows for a better representation of the actual dioramas as they appear in real life. Also, the extra-wide images show a clearer perspective of the context and detail that a lot of the displays are attempting to depict.

While it is still possible to view the website in other screen resolutions like 800 X 600, the right hand side of the images will be cut off, furthermore, if your screen is set to higher than 1024 X 768 then you may find that the images appear smaller and more difficult to view.

The website features intricately detailed miniature depictions from Gulliver's Travels to Space 2201 and a complete railway journey across Canada. For fans of miniaturization it is well worth setting your screen to the recommended 1024 X 768 for the time it will take to explore this extensive website with all of its features.
